Desert Green and Sunsets - February 23 & 24, 2019

If you're reading this on facebook, click the first picture or this text box to be taken to the Blog to see the rest of the pictures.

The cool weather is moving out and the sun shines warmly down on the desert around us. The breezes coming through the cold and snow covered mountains are holding our temps in check for now.  Plenty of water is running through the washes and that will only increase as the snow in the mountains melts and rushes toward the Gila River.

Superstition Mountain - my favorite!  This is OUR Back yard!

The following pictures were taken Sunday 2/24/2019

Taken while flying toward the mountain. Kind of a cool effect!

As the sun sets, the colors on the mountain and clouds are ever changing

The snow bands are getting more narrow. This mountain is roughly 5,000' tall.

This is a special 180 degree panorama. I hope it looks good on your PC. You may need to click on the picture to get full resolution.
